Reno Raines era policía y de los mejores, pero cometió el error de testificar contra otros policías corruptos. El teniente Dixon se asusta por lo que Reno sabe y envía a un asesino para acabar con su vida. Sin embargo, durante el tiroteo, resultó muerta la esposa de Reno y el teniente Dixon ve una oportunidad de oro para acusar a Reno de homicidio. This becomes easier once he slowly starts having flashbacks of childhood memories of the two. Eventually Mitch joins Reno's side. The two bring down the entire cage fighting circus and those who conduct it, with the help of Bobby Sixkiller and a special task force.
