Cuidado con la autoestima

La familia Morgendorffer se muda a la ciudad de Lawndale, y Daria y Quinn asisten a su primer día de clases. Quinn encaja rápidamente entre sus nuevos compañeros. Daria falla en un examen psicológico y debe tomar clases adicionales, en donde conoce a su nueva amiga, Jane Lane. Jane tiene las respuestas del examen, por lo que aprueban el curso extra y son homenajeadas en un acto escolar. Daria avergüenza a Quinn, que fingía ser hija única, dándole las gracias enfrente de toda la escuela.
